Nature Walk at Mt. Pisgah

Preregisteration required.

Learn to carry your baby and join us for a walk in nature guided by the Mt. Pisgah naturalists. We willmeet at the education buiding for a quick carrying demo and for participants to pick up their free parking pass, and then we will go for a walk in nature!

September 12 at 10am: All about Acorns

Allabout Acorns.
Where is an ideal spot to grow an oak? What’s a weevil? Why are squirrels so nuts about acorns!? We will uncover the web of life found in majestic oaks, and how acorns provide sustenance for life throughout our world. By the end of the trip we will get to process & taste acorn flour!
