Get Financial Help for Preschool

Did you know that most families qualify for free or low-cost preschool? Learn what’s available and how to apply.

We help coordinate Preschool Promise.

Preschool Promise is a free, high-quality preschool option for kids ages 3 and 4 whose family income falls within 200% of the federal poverty level.

The Hub’s Preschool Promise (PSP) team coordinates with Quality Care Connections and Head Start to ensure children are enrolled in the preschool that best fits their needs. Our PSP team is bilingual in Spanish and French, and equipped to serve families of all backgrounds in Lane County.

Learn More About Preschool Promise

We fund Family Resource Centers in school districts across Lane County.

Family Resource Centers (FRCs) serve as welcoming community spaces where families can find support and connection.

Every year, the Hub opens a grant opportunity for FRCs in Lane County to apply for funding, and a volunteer community review panel engages in an equity-driven grant review process to determine where to invest FRC funds. Family Resource Centers utilize these funds to host family events, clothing closets, and other offerings to strengthen families with children ages 0-6.

During the funding period, the Hub also convenes Family Resource Center coordinators monthly to engage in resource-sharing, professional development, and community building opportunities.
