Family Relief Nursery

What This Organization Does

Family Relief Nursery supports families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years through home visits, parenting education, parenting support, and early childhood services that help build strong relationships and support healthy development. Staff work with parents and caregivers to reduce stress, build confidence, and connect families to community resources when needed. The organization also provides transportation for children, emergency respite care, and basic needs support including diapers, clothing, and food for families. Services are free and may be available in English and Spanish.

Home Visiting

Fern Ridge Family Resource Center

What This Organization Does

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center supports families with parenting education groups, activities for kids, support accessing helpful resources. They offer free diapers and pull-ups in partnership with the Lane County Diaper Bank, free clothes ranging from birth to teens, free baby items, lactation support and supplies, parenting book lending library, and connections to local resources and services. Their goal is to help families feel welcomed, supported, and confident.

Parenting Coaching

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center offers parenting education groups, activities for children, and a parenting book lending library. These services help parents and caregivers build skills, learn together, and feel more confident in supporting their children’s growth and development.

Additional Resources

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center provides basic needs support including free diapers and pull-ups through the Lane County Diaper Bank, clothing for babies through teens, and free baby items. Staff also help families connect with local resources and services that meet their needs.

Pregnancy & Birth Support

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center offers lactation support and supplies to help parents and caregivers with infant feeding and early bonding during the postpartum period.

Mapleton Family Resource Center

The Mapleton Family Resource Center supports families by providing essential items such as food, clothing, shoes, diapers, household supplies, and personal care products. They also offer parenting education, afterschool programs, and access to health services through telehealth pods. Community programs, including a community kitchen and farmers market, help families access resources, build connections, and support their well-being.

These services help families feel supported and connected. The center also connects families to community resources and, when available, provides basic supplies like food, clothing, and diapers.
