Nature Walk at Mt. Pisgah

Learn to carry your baby and join us for a walk in nature guided by the Mt. Pisgah naturalists. We will meet at the education building for a quick carrying demo, free parking pass pickup, and then we will go for a walk in nature!

2026 Dates:

1. September 12 at 10am: All about Acorns

Where is an ideal spot to grow an oak? What’s a weevil? Why are squirrels so nuts about acorns!? We will uncover the web of life found in majestic oaks, and how acorns provide sustenance for life throughout our world. By the end of the trip we will get to process & taste acorn flour!

2. December 12 at 10am: Admirable Adaptations

Who should attend: Parents, Babies, families, friends, caregivers- everyone is welcome!

What to expect: Connect with other parents while carrying your babies in an amazing, guided nature walk, we will learn, while we connect and share with families and friends.
