Family Relief Nursery

What This Organization Does

Family Relief Nursery supports families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years through home visits, parenting education, parenting support, and early childhood services that help build strong relationships and support healthy development. Staff work with parents and caregivers to reduce stress, build confidence, and connect families to community resources when needed. The organization also provides transportation for children, emergency respite care, and basic needs support including diapers, clothing, and food for families. Services are free and may be available in English and Spanish.

Home Visiting

Family Relief Nursery supports families through home visiting services for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Staff meet with parents and caregivers at home to provide guidance, support healthy child development, and help strengthen family relationships during early childhood.

Parent Coaching

Family Relief Nursery offers parenting education and parenting support to help parents and caregivers build confidence, reduce stress, and strengthen relationships with their young children. Staff work alongside families to support positive routines and healthy development.

Fern Ridge Family Resource Center

What This Organization Does

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center supports families with parenting education groups, activities for kids, support accessing helpful resources. They offer free diapers and pull-ups in partnership with the Lane County Diaper Bank, free clothes ranging from birth to teens, free baby items, lactation support and supplies, parenting book lending library, and connections to local resources and services. Their goal is to help families feel welcomed, supported, and confident.

Parenting Coaching

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center offers parenting education groups, activities for children, and a parenting book lending library. These services help parents and caregivers build skills, learn together, and feel more confident in supporting their children’s growth and development.

Additional Resources

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center provides basic needs support including free diapers and pull-ups through the Lane County Diaper Bank, clothing for babies through teens, and free baby items. Staff also help families connect with local resources and services that meet their needs.

Pregnancy & Birth Support

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center offers lactation support and supplies to help parents and caregivers with infant feeding and early bonding during the postpartum period.

Head Start of Lane County

What This Organization Does

Head Start and Early Head Start provide free early childhood education – part day and full day – and family support services for expectant families and children. Services include home visits, health and dental screenings, nutrition support, social‑emotional development, and high‑quality early learning programs.

Home Visiting

Head Start and Early Head Start provide home visiting services as part of their family support. Staff meet with families to support early childhood development, social-emotional growth, and school readiness, while helping families connect to helpful services and resources.

Additional Resources

Head Start and Early Head Start support families with housing navigation services and connections to community resources. Staff help families access services that support stability and meet basic needs, including referrals for housing and other essential supports.

Love.Our.Mothers – All Family Doula Care

What the Organization Does

Pregnancy & Birth Support

Love.Our.Mothers – All Family Doula Care provides personalized support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early weeks after a baby arrives. Doulas offer education, emotional support, comfort measures, birth preparation, and practical guidance to help families feel informed, confident, and supported before, during, and after birth.

OHP Covered Services

Birth doula support and postpartum doula support are covered by the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) for eligible families. Lactation support is also available for current Love.Our.Mothers birth doula clients.

Other Services

Love.Our.Mothers also provides compassionate support for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss, adoption, surrogacy, abortion, and other complex family journeys. Placenta encapsulation services are also available.

Mapleton Family Resource Center

What This Organization Does

The Mapleton Family Resource Center supports families by providing essential items such as food, clothing, shoes, diapers, household supplies, and personal care products. They also offer parenting education, afterschool programs, and access to health services through telehealth pods. Community programs, including a community kitchen and farmers market, help families access resources, build connections, and support their well-being.

The Mapleton Family Resource Center offers parenting education and afterschool programs that help families build skills, strengthen relationships, and support children’s development.

McKenzie/Blue River Family Resource Center

What This Organization Does

The McKenzie‑Blue River Family Resource Center supports parents and caregivers of young children in the McKenzie and Blue River area with parenting education, early learning groups, and family activities. These services help families feel supported and connected. The center also connects families to community resources and, when available, provides basic supplies like food, clothing, and diapers. Staff create a welcoming place where caregivers can learn and find support.

Nurturely

What This Organization Does

Nurturely supports expectant and new parents, infants, and caregivers through education, support, and community connection. The organization focuses on helping families have healthy starts and works to reduce health gaps for parents and infants. Nurturely offers support around pregnancy, birth, early infant care, lactation, and postpartum care. Services include one-on-one lactation support, virtual lactation education, family preparedness education, and programs that help families feel connected, supported, and included. They also offer nature walks that include climate resiliency and wildfire preparedness, dance and body movement classes that support infant bonding and care, and cultural story times for families.

Pregnancy & Birth Support

Nurturely supports expectant and new parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. They provide lactation support and education, including one-on-one support and virtual lactation learning. Services help families feel informed, supported, and confident while caring for themselves and their infants during the early stages of parenthood.

Parent Coaching

Nurturely offers education, community programs, and activities that support early parenting and infant care. Families can participate in programs that build connection, support bonding, and provide guidance for caring for a newborn. These services help parents and caregivers feel supported and included as they adjust to life with a baby.

Options Counseling and Family Services

What This Organization Does

Options Counseling and Family Services supports children, youth, adults, and families through mental health, behavioral health, and family support services. The organization provides counseling, therapy, parenting education, and skills training to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, strengthen family relationships, and support healthy child development. Services may include individual or family counseling, parenting guidance, and practical strategies to build parenting skills, improve communication, manage stress, support positive behaviors, and create healthy routines at home.

Using a family-centered and inclusive approach, Options focuses on safety, healing, and growth while connecting individuals and families with community resources and ongoing support.

Oregon Community Programs

What This Organization Does

Oregon Community Programs (OCP) supports children, youth, and families through behavioral health, mental health, and family support services. The organization provides counseling, therapy, parenting education, support groups, and specialized services for foster and kinship caregivers. Services may include individual, family, or caregiver support to help children and families manage emotions, reduce stress, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges at home, school, and in the community. Through parenting education and coaching, parents and caregivers learn practical strategies to support positive behavior, build nurturing relationships, and promote healthy social-emotional development.

Services are available for children and youth ages 0–18, with some services available up to age 21 in limited circumstances. Support may be provided in the office, home, school, or other community settings depending on a family’s needs. Enrolled participants can also receive resource navigation to help connect with additional services and supports.
