Across Lane County, there are nearly 22,000 children ages 0–6. The Hub brings together partners from many sectors to align early childhood efforts and better meet the needs of local families.

Preschool Promise
Coordinated 26 preschool sites
539 children enrolled in free, high-quality preschool
Parenting Education
Invested $185,061 in 23 organizations to provide parenting education workshops and parenting support to families.
2,604 families participated in workshops, classes, and parenting groups
443 parenting classes and workshops offered across the County
Family Resource Centers
Invested $116,967 toward eight Lane County Family Resource Centers. These FRCs helped 3,000 families support their children’s personal and educational success.
Kids in Transition to School (KITS)
Funded $120,000 to local schools and $190,894 for teacher training and implementation across 8 school districts and 23 separate classrooms.
95 professionals trained; 251 children & 416 parents/caregivers participated in the program

Together with our partners, we connect families to resources, strengthen parenting skills, expand access to early learning, and help children build the foundation for a successful transition to kindergarten.
